What is BondPoint?
BondPoint is an ECN and applications provider to the retail bond market. Its electronic trading platform is used daily by 150+ brokerages to trade retail-size lots.

Are individual investors able to trade on the BondPoint platform?
No. BondPoint is not business to consumer so does not directly handle individual accounts, but we encourage retail customers to use one of our brokerage partners. Through our partners, clients can trade on the BondPoint platform directly from an existing brokerage account, just as stocks or mutual funds are traded.
What are your hours of business?
The BondPoint platform is available 24 hours a day. Clients may place orders to buy or sell at any time; however, transactions are crossed between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ET Monday through Friday. Orders entered after 5:00 p.m. ET will be queued for the next trading session. Our customer care center is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, at 877.423.7839.

How do I connect to BondPoint?
BondPoint offers three methods to interact with the platform.
How do I place an order?
Clients must be registered users. If you are not already a registered user, first register by calling 800.373.9478 or emailing us at email@example.com. When registration has been approved, you will be able to choose a username and password that will provide access to the trading platform.
What types of orders will BondPoint accept?
The BondPoint system generally permits the entry of all priced (limit) orders. Therefore, clients will not sell for less or buy for more than the price entered, although orders could be executed at a better price.
What types of bonds are traded on the BondPoint platform?
Currently BondPoint supports primary and secondary trading of the following bond types: Municipals, Corporates, Agencies, Treasuries and Certificates of Deposit. Other fixed income products will be added in the future, including Unit Investment Trusts, Auction Rate Securities and CMOs.
